From the action fan to the management desk
Customer orders now open into a detail view of their own. The management desk puts the quantities and the next available action in one place.
The distillery itself needs room on screen. Frequently used actions are now grouped in a small rosette that opens into a fan. Pause, settings and the date sit together at the top left. Money and bottles have their own display. Opening the book or a tool panel clears those displays from the work area.
I compared several layouts for managing the distillery. In the chosen design, the left column switches between areas and the entries in the current view. Selecting a customer order shows its requirements, quantities and available action on the right. Moving between orders makes it easier to see what each one needs.
The next pass is about using those paths in the running game, especially moving from the action fan to an individual order, and returning to management from stock or equipment. The last check still showed clipped content in the stock panel. This is a development update on an interface still being refined.
