Personal rules and a cleaner link

Not every protection decision needs another service. Two small tools in the development version give more control directly on the device.

Sometimes a single domain is missing from a personal block list. Sometimes a link contains more campaign parameters than I want to share. I am adding two focused tools to RiffBlock for those situations.

Personal domains in Safari

Up to 200 advertising domains can be added individually or as a list. Subdomains are considered, inputs are checked and existing website exceptions keep priority. The rules stay local and use Safari’s native filters.

Adding an existing domain again should avoid unnecessary reapplication while still allowing a genuinely pending change to complete.

Clean links deliberately

The link cleaner starts only after an explicit paste. It removes known tracking parameters while preserving the remaining spelling, functional parameters and fragments. Recognised sign-in or signature parameters leave the link untouched. Cleaning neither opens the destination nor creates a history.

DNS remains a separate choice

There is also preparation for an optional DNS profile export. Exporting does not install protection. Installation and effectiveness on the actual devices require separate checks. This does not create a VPN service or promise to remove every advertisement in every app.
