Changed

  • Build 2 preserves a previously explicit German filter selection as a manual choice.
  • New installations can use automatic local device language selection.
  • All language profiles check the same fixed set of public filter sources without sending language choices or visited websites.
  • The product reporting service is disabled; reports remain local.
  • Video and appearance repairs have separate controls with named scopes.

Improved

  • Conditional HTTPS updates with limited parallel downloads and atomic application.
  • Failed updates receive an earlier bounded retry rather than a full-day delay.
  • Only filter categories that actually changed are reloaded.
  • Affected page regions are combined to reduce duplicate DOM work.
  • Hidden tabs pause dynamic follow-up work.
  • Technical video measurements remain temporary and local, without website or video identifiers.
  • Short-lived permissions survive Safari extension background unloading.
  • Backup imports are validated with explicit size and count limits.

Fixed

  • Corrected a startup crash during simultaneous initial Safari queries.
  • Added cleaning of the supported mobile YouTube response path.
  • Corrected unnecessary player restarts and flickering covers in the video changes checked.
  • Corrected duplicate social detection and retained old feed nodes.
  • Reduced outdated partial scans and unnecessary layout changes.
  • Fixed a truncated report confirmation.
  • A successful source check no longer prevents retrying an application that failed.
