A neighbourhood is more than a row of houses
Roads, lots and routes in Sirenstead need to work as a city and as an emergency response area.

A retrospective on 8 October 2026. Written and published on 14 October 2026 using the project history.
Sirenstead needs a city where emergencies can happen. Attractive individual houses are not enough. Roads need to connect, lots need access and the neighbourhood needs to read as a whole.
Work on the residential area therefore focused on connected blocks, corners and junctions. Repetition helps with construction. Too much makes a place look like a row of identical pieces.
The tool behind the city matters more as it grows. If changing roads and houses takes too much effort, every small correction becomes expensive. That makes the World Editor part of building Sirenstead.
The capture shows the neighbourhood in development. It does not yet establish how the complete city and response gameplay will feel.
