Where can I get Idle Holdings?
Idle Holdings is available on iOS and Android. Find both download links on the game page.
How do I get started?
Open your first business, collect its output and reinvest in levels and improvements. Follow the contextual guidance and open Help & Game Knowledge when a new system appears.
Progress, saving and account recovery
Where is my progress saved?
Your device keeps the game save used for play. When online, the game attempts to create or resume a Unity player account and back up the complete save with Unity Cloud Save. Check the status under Settings → Account & cloud backup before relying on a backup.
Can I recover progress on a new device?
Recovery uses an account previously linked to Game Center on iOS or Google Play Games on Android, on the same platform. Link the account before replacing a device or removing the app, and check that the cloud save is current. Use Recover progress to select the linked account. Recovery depends on the platform service and account access; an anonymous cloud account alone is not reliable reinstall protection. Recovery between iOS and Android is not supported.
What happens if my saves differ?
The game compares complete saves and asks you to choose when they conflict. It does not combine parts of different saves. Read the progress information carefully; unresolved conflicts pause uploads.
How do I delete my cloud account?
Open Settings → Account & cloud backup → Delete cloud account and confirm. This removes the game’s online save and Unity player account while keeping local progress. Backup stays off until you explicitly enable it again. If interrupted, reconnect and retry. See account deletion for details and email requests.
Does resetting the game or uninstalling delete the cloud account?
No. Local reset and app removal concern device data and are separate from cloud-account deletion. Do not assume a local reset has deleted online data or that uninstalling preserves a recoverable account.
Offline play
Can I play without internet?
Yes. Local gameplay does not require an internet connection or a platform sign-in. Cloud backup, account linking and recovery need an online connection.
How does offline progress work?
When you return, the game calculates progress for your absence within its current offline limits. Production still depends on your businesses, resources and progression; it is not an unlimited guarantee of income.
Gameplay, research and production
Why has production slowed or stopped?
Some businesses consume resources made by other businesses. Check input supplies and the requirements shown in the game before increasing capacity. Locations and upgrades can change how a business performs.
How do research and eras fit together?
Research opens technologies and economic opportunities as your dynasty advances. Each project shows its costs and requirements. Help & Game Knowledge explains the systems available at your stage.
What survives a generation change?
A successor carries the dynasty forward with its businesses, research and wealth. A new generation builds on your economic progress. Review the succession information in the game before choosing.
Language and technical help
Can I switch language?
Idle Holdings supports English and German. Change the language in Settings.
What should I include in a support request?
Include the app version, device model, operating-system version, language and steps leading to the problem. For cloud issues, include the status message and any support identifier shown in the game. Remove personal information from screenshots. Never send passwords or sign-in tokens.
