Where can I download The Distiller’s Path?
A general public download and release date have not been announced. Visit the project page and development journal for the current progress.
Why does my test build look different from the images?
The interface, tutorial and animations are still being developed. The website labels interface concepts with sample data and actual development captures. Include your test-build version and the affected screen when asking about a difference.
How do the production stages fit together?
Production connects mashing, fermentation, distilling, bottling and storage. Check your chosen recipe for ingredients, suitable equipment and the next stage’s requirements. Methods can differ in their timing and production steps.
Production & operations
Why can’t I start a batch?
Check the displayed costs, available ingredients, a suitable free machine and the line assignment. Batches already in progress can reserve supplies and capacity. If the displayed requirements are met, send the exact message and a screenshot.
Why has work at a machine stopped?
Check whether an earlier production stage is still running, materials are missing, or staff and equipment are unavailable. Review maintenance and condition messages as well. The message at the affected stage helps identify the bottleneck.
Why have finished bottles not earned any money?
Finished goods become income through an explicit sale. Check your stock, sale quantity and any selected customer order. Production and selling are separate actions.
How do I access more rooms and features?
Rooms become accessible gradually and must be purchased. Research, staff training and production expansion also have requirements. Follow the information in your version; the detailed introduction is being developed alongside the final interface.
Test builds & reporting issues
What should I do about a save problem?
Keep the test build and existing save for now. Include its version, the last working state and whether the issue followed a restart, update or device change. Recovery or transfer between test builds needs to be assessed for the specific case.
How do I report a bug or suggest an idea?
Describe what you wanted to do, what happened instead and how to repeat the situation. For an idea, explain the moment of play you want to improve. The contact template below includes the main technical details.
