Added
- Protection check combines Safari extensions, the applied filter revision, filter age and local page checks. Unknown, paused and confirmed remain distinct.
- Up to 200 validated custom advertising domains, including subdomains, in Safari’s native rules; website exceptions take precedence. Custom rules stay local.
- Local link cleaning removes known tracking parameters after explicit paste. Functional parameters, encoding and fragments are preserved; protected login/signed links are left unchanged.
- The DNS picker includes RiffBlock DNS and other providers. Users can explicitly select and export an encrypted DNS profile, then enable it separately in system settings.
- Settings can be exported and restored locally using a password-protected backup.
Changed
- The revised Mac and iOS interface brings protection status and everyday settings forward.
Improved
- Additional YouTube assistance is prepared earlier at startup. Repeated configuration requests, injections and unchanged state writes are reduced.
- Concurrent configuration requests share local learned-rule reads. Stale responses are discarded after an intervening website pause.
- Imported learned rules update affected open tabs. Reordering an unchanged domain set no longer needlessly reapplies Safari rules.
- Individual filters, sources and technical details start collapsed; new views are localised in German and English.
- Importing, learning and undoing rules notify affected open website tabs; missing permissions in one tab do not block the remaining notifications.
- Adding existing domains or removing absent ones avoids unnecessary status checks while genuinely pending changes are still applied.
- The link cleaner preserves the original remaining URL characters, including Unicode, encoding, duplicates and fragments.
Fixed
- An empty YouTube player advertising container is no longer hidden wholesale; recognised ads inside can still be handled selectively. Saved filter catalogues migrate to the revised local correction.
- YouTube notices and playback are evaluated separately. Complete detection avoidance, consistently trouble-free startup and battery savings have not been established.
- Known dismissible YouTube blocker notices are handled only with matching loaded content and active assistance. Sign-in requirements, challenges, unplayable responses and unrelated dialogs are preserved, without forcing playback.
